Ambassador Amable R. Aguiluz V, Chairman and Founder of the AMA Education System, together with Dr. Amable C. Aguiluz IX, President of the AMA Education System, visited the new school campus of AMA International School – Bahrain on November 16, 2014.
The visit was part of the program of the Chairman and the President in monitoring the international educational establishments put up by the AMA Education System (AMAES).
They, together with some high ranking officials of AMAES and AMA International University, toured the campus visiting specific areas such as the Preschool Block, Science, Computer and Robotics Laboratories, the Administration Offices and the reception area of the school.
After the tour, the Chairman and the President addressed short remarks to the school officials and said that what they have seen was truly impressive from facilities to the structuring of the campus itself. They said that AMAISB’s objectives in providing quality education which is to cultivate students' creativity and prepare them, regardless of their circumstances, for work and life in the 21st century ensure that optimum services, resources and support are provided in order to enhance the performance of all learners.
Ms. Marietta S. Sicat, the School Director, extended her gratitude to the Chairman and the President for the visit and assured them that the school will be an excellent avenue of learning and pursue the ultimate goal of providing instruction at levels of great depth and rigor taking into consideration the objective of making the school a true Professional Learning Community in which everyone involved — students, teachers, parents, community members — are committed to lifelong learning and are willing to create and provide opportunities to do so.
Due to the splendid impression from the Chairman and the President, they decided that the school is set to have its official inauguration sometime in February.
