On November 21-25, 2015, AMAISB Robotics Team went to Beijing, China to compete for the World Adolescent Robot Contest. The teams competed to China in order to achieve great students’ exposure in the field of Robotics. It exposed the delegates to a new Robotics competition that involves different robot Mechanics such as WRO, VEX, FTC and others.
When results were announced in the categories competed, the following awards were achieved by the AMAISB Teams: Winner of the BEST DESIGN AWARD in the WRO ELEMENTARY SCHOOL Category was awarded to Krish Mehra, Nasheeda Najeeb, Ali Essam with Ms. Rowena Pascual as their coach.
Winner of the BEST PERFORMANCE AWARD in the WRO JUNIOR HIGH SCHOOL Category was awarded to Jed Angelo Santos, Fadhel Raheem’ Haitam Fareed with Ms. Mary Grace Barao as their coach.
The AMAISB Team’s first-time exposure to such event brought them to higher levels of achievement in the field of Robotics Competition and gave honor and prestige to the country they are representing – The Kingdom of Bahrain.
