Established by the United Nations (UN) in 1954, Universal Children's Day aims to promote the welfare of children everywhere and to encourage understanding between children all over the world.
On November 18, 2015, AMA International School-Bahrain celebrated the Universal Children’s Day. Various school activities in Pre-School, Elementary, Middle School and High School washeld simultaneously.
The Pre-School Department showcased the talents of our students through inter-class presentations. Children and parents were encouraged to bring toys and books as donations to charity.
In line with the celebration and as a part of the Community Action Service the school is engaging our students with, the Student Council of Middle School Department visited the Al Sanabel Orphanage and donated gifts to the children. The activity was supervised by the Head of Activities of Al Sanabel Orphanage, with the MS Vice Principal, Ms. Samia Mirza and the MS Guidance Counselor, Ms. Eman Albosta.
